  • RAM Energy LLC Announces Results of the Lincoln #1H and Hawk #1H Completions

    On 12/19/19 RAM Energy LLC (“RAM”) reported the drilling and completion results for two new wells, the Lincoln #1H and the Hawk #1H, producing from the Austin Chalk formation in the Giddings field, Fayette County, Texas.

    The Lincoln #1H was drilled to a total measured depth of 19,900 feet including a 5,459 foot lateral section.  RAM applied a 23 stage fracture stimulation utilizing over 13 million pounds sand.  Peak rate was 13,672 Mmcf of natural gas per day and 635 of liquids per day totaling 2,914 BOEpd.  The reported Lincoln #1H IP currently is the third best in the Giddings Austin Chalk field since 2017.

    The Hawk #1H was drilled to a total measured depth of 21,131 feet including a 6,400 foot lateral section.  RAM applied a 28 stage fracture stimulation utilizing over 15 MM pounds of sand.  Peak rate was 10,434 Mmcf of natural gas per day and 426 of liquids per day totaling 2,165 BOEpd.  The reported Hawk #1H IP currently is the 13th best in the Giddings Austin Chalk field since 2017.
